Our platforms - Characterization of Functional Systems - Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Measurements

Electromagnetic compatibility measurements include the evaluation of an electronic device's resistance when exposed to external disturbances in the form of direct electromagnetic coupling (radiated immunity) or electromagnetic or electrical disturbances transmitted through interconnection cables (conducted immunity). Conversely, they also include the assessment of the disruptive power of a device in the form of radiated and conducted emissions measurements. EMC characterization platforms also include testing facilities for measuring the shielding effectiveness of materials or Faraday-cage structures. The applicable frequency range depends on the type of characterization and typically spans from a few kHz to several tens of GHz.
